Overheard:
E "Mommy, daddy! Look at my castle!"
M "Wow, E, did you make that all by yourself?"
E "Yeah!"
M "That's really good! Daddy, come see this castle E made."
E "See, daddy, it's a weally tall tower."
D "Wow, that is really good!"
A few minutes later, in sing-song voice we hear
"It's my big caastle, my weally big caastle.
Mommy and daddy liiike it."
I think she was pleased at the reception of her first architectual masterpiece.
Really, this is the first time we've seen any sort of design out of her castles. Usually they're just random blocks stacked on each other. So, we were quite impressed when she came up with this on her own:
