We're going on a HONEYMOON!!
I am ever so happy to announce that, after 19 months of marriage, we have decided to complete the American wedding tradition, and have a honeymoon. Before we reach the end of our 22nd month, the traditions will be complete.
With the help of some free plane tickets (for giving up our spots and flying standby over the holidays) our savings from the hippy commune, a bit of creativity,* and some luck, we plan to spend a glorious week in Laura's dream honeymoon location, land of rainforests and mountains, seashore, secluded scenic spaces and midnight sun.
That's right!
...
ALASKA HERE WE COME!
We are now poor, but we are happy.
*Creativity because they wouldn't fly us to Alaska. We worked our way around that, (they're called "cruises" and they go to Alaska from other seaports. Aren't we sneaky?! :) ) but they couldn't fly us to Seattle and back again from the closest airport to us, so we're driving two hours south to go north. AND I get a cruise. Something I've wanted to try for a while.
